Indians are getting bigger

The body of my email messages is larger or smaller than normal.

If you are composing, replying, or forwarding an email message and the message text appears larger or smaller than it normally does, you may have changed the zoom view setting.

The zoom only affects the current element. If you select a different item or folder, the Reading Pane will revert to the default size of 100%.

There are two ways to increase or decrease the zoom factor in the Outlook reading area.

  • You can use the slider zoom at the bottom right of the Outlook window.

  • If you have a wheeled mouse, click the reading area, press Ctrl, and move the mouse wheel. If you turn the mouse wheel away from you, the content will enlarge; if you turn it towards you, it will shrink.

If you want to keep your zoom setting, you can now if you have outlook version 1901 or higher as part of a Microsoft 365. To be able to set a zoom percentage, click in the lower right corner of the zoom control %.

After you click on % clickedselect a zoom percentage, and then select the check box Remember my attitude.

  2. Choose You format text > Zoom out.

  3. Place them the zoom to 100% (or the preferred percentage) and then OK out.
