In order to increase the quality in earthworks and road construction, systems for comprehensive dynamic compaction control (FDVK) are available, which control and document the compaction performance and compaction quality during the paving process. This enables rapid construction progress, high daily output and reliable quality.
The FDVK has been established in earthworks for many years and has also been anchored as a standard test method M 2 in the "Additional technical contract conditions and guidelines for earthworks in road construction (ZTV E-StB (FGSV 599)") since 2009. Therefore, clients are increasingly demanding proof that the agreed properties of the asphalt layer have also been achieved.

The Völkel FDVK Navigator has recently also integrated the asphalt paver into the network of rollers. In addition to the geoposition, the system records important data such as the surface temperature, the route, the working width and weather data. The delivery notes of the asphalt delivery are assigned geo-referenced.
