Bookseller recommendations

Laura Potratzki M.A., Thalia bookstore Eisenach

Well ... in parts very erotic, but all in all very flat. Hillbilly meets high society and everyone loves him. Almost until the end it is reduced to the physical and almost reified, sex becomes a social event and everyone enjoys it.

Reversed roles - old pattern

Denise Körner, Thalia bookstore Kamen

I was really looking forward to Audrey Carlan's new title. Her relaxed and verbose style has always entertained me well. Unfortunately, the story about Aspen and Hank didn't really grab me. The tough business woman turns to wax in the arms of the Texan rancher. The attempt to break old stereotypes of roles inevitably ends in these. Aspen is in the money, but her success makes her lonely. Hank chivalrously saves her life and conquers her heart with his southern charm, but they come from oh so different worlds, with oh so insurmountable barriers, which they then overcome through a lot of sex and passion. Entertaining fun, but not one of Carlan's front ranks.
