How do I stop all emails

How do I stop spam emails?

Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to completely eliminate spam. But there are steps you can take to reduce spam.
Below we've gathered some tips and suggestions that can help you win the battle against spam.

Do not share your email address
Use dispensable email on the Internet
Enable antivirus in the control panel.
Block a sender or create filters in webmail

Do not share your email address

If spammers don't know your address exists, they won't be able to use it. Therefore only share your address with people and organizations that you know and trust. Do not publish them on the Internet or use them to subscribe to services, newsletters or social media.

If you need to publish your email address, for example on your own website, then camouflaging it is a good idea. This can be achieved by replacing symbols with letters. For example: "support AT one PUNKT com". Humans can interpret the address, but email crawlers won't recognize it.

Another way to camouflage your email address is to take a picture of your email address and publish it on your website.

Use dispensable email on the Internet

There will be situations in which you have to store an email address, for example for a newsletter or service. In these situations, it is a good idea to use an expendable email address rather than your primary email address.

You can create an alias under Mail Administration in the control panel that will forward all mail to your primary e-mail address. After that, you can create a filter in webmail that moves all emails received for the mail alias to a specific folder.

If you get too much spam, you can just delete the mail alias. One.com has as many email accounts and aliases as you can create, so it will always be possible.

Enable antivirus in the control panel.

You can enable Anitvirus for your email address in the control panel. Our filters will then move all suspicious emails to the spam folder.

It can happen that legitimate e-mail is mistakenly marked as spam, so we recommend that you check your spam folder regularly for e-mails that may not belong there.

Activate spam and virus filters for your email

Block a sender or create filters in webmail

If spam has infiltrated your inbox, instead of just deleting it, you can block senders or create filters to make sure it doesn't end up in your inbox again. If you block a sender, all emails sent from that address will be moved directly to your spam folder.

You can also block email from an entire domain, not just a specific address. This is possible if you create a filter that moves mail from a domain to the spam folder.

Tip: Never reply to a spam message and do not try to unsuscribe the mail. This approach lets the spammer know that the mail account is active and will end up in more spam.
