Thindi Beedi

Thindi Beedi (Food Street) is synonymous with Bangalore street food. The busy section of Thindi Beedi in VV Puram, an ancient area in the heart of Bangalore, is home to a number of street eateries serving everything from masala dosas to holiges. Aside from the variety of North and South Indian foods, the area here is cheap. The annual Avarekalu Mela (Hyacinth Bean Fair) in winter in Thindi Beedi is also a must.

Mosque street

The tantalizing flavors of Moses Road attract non-vegetarians from all over Bangalore, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Stalls along the trails offer biriyanis, sheekh kebabs, haleem and so on, at affordable prices. Evening is the time to visit.

Sri Sairam's chats and juices

Very few places come close to Sri Sairam's fast food specialization. In addition to the popular dishes Pani Puri and Dahi Puri, Sri Sairam also offers unusual dishes such as waffle chat and disco chat. Sri Sairam's Chats and Juices is highly recommended by foodies with a chat bias.

Much like Mosque Road, Shivajinagar is a sprawling area in the heart of the city that is popular with non-vegetarians. Match a kebab or other meat dish with a lime sulaimani tea - a delicious flavored tea without milk.
