Why was Fortnite created

Why was an item removed from my account in Fortnite?

If you receive a message in Fortnite that an item or V-Bucks have been removed from your account, it is because a refund or cancellation has been made on your account. This usually happens when a refund has been requested or a chargeback has been made from your payment provider. In such cases, our system will automatically remove items purchased within 30 days to cover the cost of the total refunded V-Bucks. Epic Games Player Support cannot restore these items. We recommend reading this article to protect yourself from suspicious buying behavior in the future.

If you believe these items have been improperly removed, we recommend that you contact your payment processor for more information. If the purchases were made through a third party provider such as Microsoft Sony etc., you will need to contact those company's customer service department directly as Epic Games Player Support is not responsible for purchases outside of our platforms.

Note: If there are too few items purchased in the last 30 days to cover the refunded V-Bucks, V-Bucks will be deducted from your account, which may result in a V-Bucks debt. You can pay off a V-Bucks debt by purchasing V-Bucks.
